The Creative Digital Art qualification is a GCSE in Art. Students would come out of the course with experience using photoshop, Final Cut Pro and Green Screen use. Student have the opportunity to learn InDesign and extend their use of Garage Band (which they learn in yr9) when making their own films. The work students produce would be useful when applying to any Media course post 16.

Year 10 deals with using Photoshop and an introduction to filming. Year 11 use the play Macbeth, as a theme to create an idea for a filmic or 2D outcome.

Students will be expected to make work and film/edit after school and at weekends as the course progresses. Students will need a USB for saving work from home to print at school.

Students need to be creative with their ideas and be able to draw at a confident level as the use of storyboards and sketchbooks form part of the assessment criteria and are necessary for planning work
