We are delighted to inform you that the Year 11 Parent/Carer evening will take place in person on Thursday 23rd September 2021, 4.30pm to 7.00pm. As your children have now entered the final stage of their education, before their GCSEs, it is very important that you attend the evening to inform yourself of their progress to date, and also to find out the strategies they need in order to reach, or exceed, their predicted grades.
I understand that you may be anxious about COVID and would like to reassure you that we are taking extensive steps to reduce the possibility of infection as follows:
Parents will be asked to register for one of three 50 minute arrival slots via Eventbrite to prevent large numbers of people arriving at the same time
Parents are requested to wear a mask, teachers will wear visors.
All staff will be spread out in a variety of well-ventilated locations, mainly accessed externally.
Year 10 students will be on hand to act as guides.
Parents/carers will be sat 1 metre from the teacher.
Parents/carers queuing to see a teacher will do so outside.
Meetings should last no longer than 3 – 5 minutes.
